Jim Gareau brings senior leadership experience with optics and photonics companies that innovate collaboratively with customers. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Business Line Leader at IDEX Health and Science, where he led a focused approach to innovation and market leadership. Previously he held senior leadership roles with SCHOTT, Physik Instrumente, and Aperture Optical Sciences. His extensive expertise in optical technologies and strategic acumen in mergers and acquisitions make him an ideal leader for the growing Optical Components & Assemblies (OCA) Business Unit of The Headwall Group, of which Holographix is a major part. Under Jim’s guidance, the OCA Business Unit will continue to leverage Holographix’s core manufacturing capabilities in microlens arrays, holographic gratings, and vacuum coating technologies, delivering enhanced solutions to our customers.

Jesse Van Ven Roy

Jesse Van Ven Roy

Vice President of Product & Program Management

Jesse joined Holographix in January 2012, playing an active role in technology, product and program management. He has extensive experience managing all aspects of complex programs including our HUD and HWD waveguide development programs. Jesse brings 20+ years of optical engineer/program management experience to Holographix, and was previously employed at Adaptive Optics Associates (a Northrop Grumman SBU) as a Principal Optical Engineer, where he was responsible for all technical aspects of several Government and Commercial programs, including diagnostic/alignment subassemblies for the National Ignition Facility (NIF), and programs related to Directed Energy technology. Other previous employers include Melles Griot (now IDEX) and Corning, Inc.

Bill DiPippo

Director of Engineering

Bill has returned to Holographix (now a part of Headwall) as the Director of Engineering. In this role, he leads our team of engineers to develop new capabilities in support of Holographix’ continual technological advancement and anticipated growth. For over a decade Bill played an active role in the development and automation of Holographix’ replication and assembly technologies. Prior to re-joining Holographix, Bill launched a new optics manufacturing business unit within Galvion, a defense industry supplier of protective armor and head systems. During his time at Galvion, he was instrumental in the rapid transformation of an empty building shell into a state-of-the-art, lean, optics manufacturing facility.
