What types of patterns can be replicated?
Holographix replicates high-fidelity surface-relief patterns across a remarkable range of scales and formats—from macro optical surfaces to nano-features—so the “types of patterns” we can deliver are as varied as your application. Typical examples include microlens arrays (spherical, aspheric, cylindrical, freeform, micro-Fresnel; square, hex, randomized, or custom tilings), diffraction gratings (binary, blazed, slanted, coarse-pitch to sub-micron), engineered diffusers, diffractive optical elements, and diverse micro-/nano-structures such as pillars, wells, prisms, holes, and textured surfaces. Our replication processes are designed for breadth and precision: we routinely reproduce features from sub-micron to millimeter lateral sizes, depths from <1 µm to >150 µm, and large-area arrays up to ~600 mm × 550 mm, with profile accuracies down to tens of nanometers RMS and tight positional control—making it practical to scale prototypes into production without compromising performance. Equally important, we can imprint these patterns onto a variety of substrate shapes, sizes, and materials—glass, metals, ceramics, and polymers—opening up design freedom for modules and assemblies. In short, if your optic or surface relies on a deterministic relief pattern—whether to shape, split, homogenize, couple, diffract, or diffuse light—there’s a strong chance we can replicate it efficiently and repeatably using our UV/cold-forming processes.
