Operations Manager

Reporting to the President, the Operations Manager is responsible for all facets of Holographix’ manufacturing lines, ensuring that cost, quality, and delivery targets are achieved.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Scoping, planning, and managing all product lines.
  • Creating and executing production work plans for product lines, revising plans as appropriate to meet changing needs, priorities and requirements.
  • Resource planning.
  • Proactively identifying and resolving production risks and issues.
  • Tracking production efficiency and yields to ensure profitability.
  • Engaging in the continual improvement of technical processes and procedures required to manufacture the products.
  • Monitoring and controlling product line production schedules (using Microsoft Project and other applicable software).
  • Establishing effective communication with other departments involved in the product build.
  • Managing of external suppliers.
  • Communicating production status to customers, vendors, and internal stake holders.
  • Identifying production bottlenecks and participating in production gap analyses.
  • Management of all personnel responsible for manufacturing.
  • Travel <5%.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a production manager or operations manager.
  • Experience with commercial and/or defense optical products is desirable.
  • Familiarity with MRP or ERP systems.
  • Solid technical process development background. Engineering experience is desirable.
  • Outstanding leadership skills and good strategic thinking.
  • Effective time & prioritization management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Positive approach to new ideas and ability to think “outside the box”.
  • Successful at adapting to, and managing change.
  • Ability to drive results across multi-disciplinary group.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Familiarity with ISO Quality Assurance programs.
  • Familiarity with Aerospace AS9100 requirements desired.

Production Planner

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Product Planner is responsible for coordinating production workflow for multiple products, as well as planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance.

Daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
  • Set up raw materials, tooling, and supplies for each project.
  • Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations.
  • Schedule shifts according to production needs.
  • Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time.
  • Tracking production efficiency and yields.
  • Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
  • Collaborate with quality control, engineering, and other staff.
  • Scope, plan, and coordinate production workflow.
  • Proactively identify and resolve production risks and issues.
  • Work directly with individual technicians to resolve production-related issues.
  • Monitor and control production schedules (using Microsoft Excel and other applicable software).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a planner/supervisor.
  • Experience with commercial and/or defense optical products is desirable.
  • Familiarity with MRP or ERP systems.

Technical Sales Manager

Holographix LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive our company’s growth through creative sales and marketing initiatives. This position reports directly to our President/CEO.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interacting with customers and prospective customers from both a sales and technical perspective
  • Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, including management of trade shows and follow-up campaigns to capitalize on leads generated
  • Directing website improvement initiatives, and organizing and maintaining sales leads.

Holographix is seeking an Optical Technician interested in working in a challenging, fast-paced environment of our expanding high technology company. Responsibilities include cleaning, coating, testing, and packaging of optics as well as other production related work. Some hands-on experience in the optics field would be desirable. However, Holographix will provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals interested in entering this field.
