Product Line Manager

Reporting to the President, the Product Line Manager is responsible for all facets of Holographix’ optical waveguide manufacturing lines, ensuring that cost, quality, and delivery targets are achieved.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Scoping, planning, and managing complex waveguide product lines.
  • Creating and executing production work plans for product lines, revising plans as appropriate to meet changing needs, priorities and requirements.
  • Tracking production efficiency and yields to ensure profitability.
  • Engaging in the continual improvement of technical processes and procedures required to manufacture the products.
  • Monitoring and controlling product line production schedules (using Microsoft Project and other applicable software).
  • Establishing effective communication with other departments involved in the product build.
  • Supervision of 5-10 direct reports.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a product line technical lead or technical management.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with commercial and/or defense optical products is desirable.
  • Outstanding leadership skills and good strategic thinking.
  • Effective time & prioritization management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Positive approach to new ideas and ability to think “outside the box”.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Opto-Mechanical Engineer

Holographix is seeking an innovative Opto-Mechanical Engineer interested in working in the challenging, fast-paced environment of our expanding high technology company. In this position, the engineer will play a key role in our growth by helping us to develop and implement new and improved tooling and processes, by performing metrology work on new products, by troubleshooting technical problems as they arise, and by working with Production to help transfer new products from development to production.

Daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with the engineering team to develop new and innovative tools and processes to allow us to expand our capabilities
  • Performing metrology measurements on new and existing products
  • Improving production yields through innovative process improvements
  • Working with the Production group to move product from development to manufacturing
  • Training technicians to operate equipment and tools required to manufacture our products
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems as they arise

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:

  • BS degree in Science (Optics, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • Five years or more of relevant experience
  • Experience with optical systems and measurement equipment
  • Hands-on experience with optical components
  • Ability to operate interferometer, spectrophotometer, SEM equipment etc. desired
  • Ability to read and create drawings using DraftSight and/or Solidworks software desired

Technical Sales Manager

Holographix LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive our company’s growth through creative sales and marketing initiatives. This position reports directly to our President/CEO.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interacting with customers and prospective customers from both a sales and technical perspective
  • Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, including management of trade shows and follow-up campaigns to capitalize on leads generated
  • Directing website improvement initiatives, and organizing and maintaining sales leads.

Optical Technician

Holographix is seeking an Optical Technician interested in working in a challenging, fast-paced environment of our expanding high technology company. Responsibilities include cleaning, coating, testing, and packaging of optics as well as other production related work. Some hands-on experience in the optics field would be desirable. However, Holographix will provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals interested in entering this field.
