Senior Optical Engineer

Holographix is seeking a self-motivated Senior Optical Engineer interested in working in the challenging, fast-paced environment of our expanding high technology company.

In this position, the engineer will be responsible for:

  • Working as part of an engineering team on customer-driven engineering projects.
  • Designing custom optical components such as microlens arrays, DOEs, diffusers, and Fresnel lenses using Zemax software.
  • Designing custom optical thin film coatings using Macleod software (Holographix will provide training).
  • Optimizing transmission and reflection grating diffraction efficiency using PCGrate and GSolver software (Holographix will provide training).
  • Developing and implementing engineering processes for the production of custom optical components.
  • Performing optical characterization of optical components and assemblies.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Science (Optics or Physics preferred)
  • Five years or more of relevant experiencee
  • Ability to model optical components in Zemax
  • Experience with optical systems and measurement equipment desired
  • Hands-on experience with optical components
  • Ability to operate interferometer, spectrophotometer, SEM equipment etc. desired
  • Ability to read and create drawings using Solidworks software desired

Manufacturing Engineer

Holographix is seeking an innovative and self-motivated Manufacturing Engineer interested in working in the challenging, fast-paced environment of our expanding high technology company. In this position, the engineer will play a key role in our manufacturing department, by helping us to develop and implement new and improved processing techniques, troubleshooting problems as they arise, and generally working to ensure that all facets of our manufacturing floor are running efficiently.

Daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with the manufacturing management team to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems as they arise
  • Improving production yields through innovative equipment, tooling, and process improvements
  • Working with development engineers to move product from development to manufacturing
  • Training technicians to operate equipment and tools required to manufacture our products
  • Overseeing and maintaining production related equipment

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Science (Optics, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • Two or more years of relevant experience
  • Ability to read and create drawings using Solidworks software required
  • Experience with optical systems and measurement equipment desired
  • Hands-on experience with optical components desired
  • Ability to operate interferometer, spectrophotometer, SEM equipment etc. desired

Technical Sales Manager

Holographix LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive our company’s growth through creative sales and marketing initiatives. This position reports directly to our President/CEO.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interacting with customers and prospective customers from both a sales and technical perspective
  • Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, including management of trade shows and follow-up campaigns to capitalize on leads generated
  • Directing website improvement initiatives, and organizing and maintaining sales leads.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Science or Business
  • 5 years or more of relevant experience
  • Ability to multi-task and work flexible hours
  • Ability to travel as required

Optical Technician

Responsibilities include cleaning, coating, testing, and packaging of optics as well as other production related work. Some hands-on experience in the optics field would be desirable. However, Holographix will provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals interested in entering this field.
